Run Free and Barefoot!

Man/Woman is meant to walk barefoot on uneven ground. Have you ever wondered why it feels so good to walk with the grass between your toes and the cool earth beneath your feet? The human foot has over 200,000 nerve endings and proprioception (the connection from your feet and hands to your brain) through our feet is enhanced when barefoot. Some scientists have called this
grounding". It affects every nerve in our body creating a sense of peace and well being. It also makes us aware of our physicality and sense of balance/posture. This new found awareness of the ground's surface, which was numbed by shoes, can restore balance to your spine and reduce pain. This reduces the stress on the body and aids in the chiropractic alignment!  Don't put children in shoes until necessary for protection. Run free and go barefoot as often as you can!
